Chairman’s Welcome

Dear Tempe Chamber Members,

It is a tremendous honor to begin my service as Chair of the Tempe Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors. I am excited to work alongside our members, Board, and staff as we continue advancing Tempe's position as one of the most dynamic business communities in Arizona.

Before looking ahead, I want to express my sincere appreciation to our outgoing Chair, Laura Briscoe, for her outstanding leadership and service. Laura's dedication has strengthened our Chamber and positioned us for continued success.

Tempe is more than the city where I work—it's home. As a longtime resident, my wife and I have chosen to raise our children here because of the incredible opportunities this community provides. From excellent schools to the world-class educational and research resources of Arizona State University, Tempe creates pathways for lifelong learning and long-term economic opportunity.

Despite its relatively small geographic footprint, Tempe serves as one of the economic engines of Greater Phoenix. The city attracts regional headquarters, innovative startups, and major employers that generate jobs, investment, and tax revenue across the Valley.
Tempe's ability to bring together business, education, technology, and entrepreneurship makes it a critical contributor to the long-term economic success and competitiveness of the entire Phoenix metropolitan area.

As we begin a new fiscal year, I look forward to working with Chamber CEO, RobinArredondo-Savage, to build on our Chamber's strong foundation by supporting local businesses, strengthening member engagement, and fostering partnerships that help
our community thrive.
