Business Woman of The Year Nominations

Celebrate the 2026 Business Woman of The Year! Friday, April 17, 2026
The Tempe Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the return of the "2026 Leadership Conference" and is now calling for nominations for the 2026 Business Woman of the Year Award!
This event provides a platform to recognize the women that lead and succeed in Tempe. The nomination process is open to members of the public to nominate, recognize and encourage a woman that has excelled beyond their expectations over the past year.
Nominations can be submitted by anyone in the community and serve as the first step in the selection process. Once nominations close, all eligible nominees are invited to accept and provide supporting details that highlight their achievements and impact. This ensures every nominee has the opportunity to share their story and allows our judging panel to fairly assess each candidate. Together, these steps create a transparent and inclusive process that celebrates the remarkable women who drive Tempe forward.
NOMINATIONS PROCESS & REQUIREMENTS FOR ELIGIBILITY
Nominees must be:
- Tempe resident or business located in Tempe
- Business owner or employee
- Must have a major presence in Tempe
- Business outside of Tempe must be a Tempe Chamber Member to qualify
NOMINEES MUST:
- Demonstrate excellence in their field
- Display leadership in the community
- Foster equitable practices that support and champion women
- Serve as a positive role model
- Be active in programs and activities in the Tempe community
- Must be able to meet time commitments (detailed below)
- All nominees must purchase a minimum of two tickets to the event in April
- Award Finalists must support the Leadership Conference by purchasing a minimum of one table of ten at the event
- Additional tables/tickets may be purchased
GUIDELINES:
1.Self-nominations are accepted.
2.Finalists will be selected based on quality and not quantity of nominations submitted.
*Previous winners of the Business Woman of the Year Award are excluded from this award (however, nominees and finalists are still eligible).
Submit as many details as possible to ensure the Judging panel has adequate information about the nominee.
We encourage you to contact your nominee and let her know you’ve nominated her to the Tempe Chamber of Commerce.
Additionally, the judging panel will select three finalists, who will be honored at the 2026 Leadership Conference. The winner will be announced at the event on Friday, April 17, 2025 at the Marriott Phoenix Resort Tempe at The Buttes.
